Contour lines not following the actual brep shape?

I have been trying to create a few horizontal contour lines on a brep created with "Patch" component.
Created those horizontal section contour lines with both "Brep/Pane intersection" and "Contours" component.
The problem is that when editing the Patch shape with "flexibility" parameter's value, contour lines do not follow the shape. No matter what "flexibility" value I take, the contours always remain the same, while the brep does not.



Why is that so? Is this a bug?
It's interesting that when I bake the "Patch" component's brep, and then assign it to both "Brep/Pane intersection" and "Contours", I am getting the correct results.

Can reproducce - converting the surface to a nurbs surface seems to be a workaround for the problem.

That's a fascinating bug. Also if I untrim, then retrim the patch it starts working correctly again.
