algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I am trying to draw a square (1x1) with a circular hole in the center (R=0.25).

I wish to extract control points and weights of the corresponding surface and use to reconstruct the same in MATLAB. I need this geometry to run my Isogeometric analysis code (IGA). Can someone help me?

Hi there!

Exactly which parameters are you looking to control? I am unfamiliar with MATLAB. Does this example help? The controllable parameters are the base square dimensions, circle dimensions, and plate thickness.

Thanks for your reply. What I am trying to do is to construct a quarter circle with a hole. The square is of a certain dimension and so is the radius of the hole (those two are knowns). Can I construct the same using grasshopper and then have it output the control points and corresponding weights (green dots).

I did this in matlab but I already knew the control points and weights. What if I want to do the same for some other surface and I dont know the control points or the weights?
