algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi!

I'd like to generate an inflatable constrained by the selected curves you see on the image, using ggInflateMesh by Geometry Gym. I thought that would be done by conecting the curves to Restraints, but I don´t manage to do it. Need help! Thanks.

Hi Jano,

My inflating routine works akin to structural analysis, you can constrain the mesh at various locations from the start.  It won't act like a physical constraint (ie when the mesh exceeds past this point, stop it here).  You might have more luck with kangaroo if this is a requirement.  You can start by forming faces with edges on your curves and then meshing those faces and inflating.

Cheers,

Jon

Thanks Jon!

I will give it a try.
