Connecting an element in a series to the next element

Hello, 

After creating a series of boxes along divisions on a path, I am attempting to create surfaces in the space between these boxes which are generated by their edges. When the boxes are rotated around their centers, these surfaces would stretch to fit. 

In essence, my difficulty is in understanding how to find the edge of the first and then the next box to be used to generate this surface. The attached screenshots show the definition and the surfaces in question drawn by hand in rhino.
