component to unroll folded 3D-moduls?

Hello everyone,

We have a question concering our current project for school. We are dealing with the topic of curved folding to generate a pavillon.

We have generated a modul to begin with (compare pic enclosed). The modul is a variable triangle which is folded to generate the static height of the pavillon. In Grasshopper we have written a script that provides the mesh for the pavillon as well as every single modul in 3D.

Our problem is that every single modul varies in its dimensions due to the fact that they adapt to the form of the mesh. We are searching for a component that unfolds/unrolls the 3D-moduls mathematically exact.
