Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi.
When using the cp curve tool in Rhino there is a setting regarding the curve being sharp or not. How can i change this setting in the curve component in Grasshopper?

Any body?
Hi Rasmus,

Would you please clarify as I'm not familiar with this. Are you referring to the Curve CP (Closest Point) component or the Curve (from Control Points) component.

Best regards
Danny
Hi. I am referring to the Curve form control points? When using it inside Rhino, there is a setting called sharp or not. I can't seem find this in the Grasshopper component?
I have to admit I've never seen this before now (you learn something new everyday), but this is what the Periodic Boolean is for. However, I have tried it out in GH and it does not produce the same curve as Rhino's periodic curve. There seems to be too much weight at the start and finish point. I think this is a case for David when he gets online later.

Correction: I've worked out what I did wrong. Don't select the First point again as the last point just leave a gap and then set the Periodic Boolean to True this will close the gap and replicate the Rhino Periodic curve.
For the sharp affect as in Rhino, don't use Periodic option in Grasshopper but use the First point you selected for the curve as the last point as well.
Oh Yeah, sorry I was talking about the or not.
Thank you!! This was perfect... Great answers.
Best regards.
