algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hello everybody,

i was trying to map a 2d surface with colour gradient according to multiple attractor points, so the result would more or less look like diva or ladybug stuff. But for some reason the distance data goes wrong and the colour is just weird. Can anybody have a look at my gh? I have tried the graft thing but still something is wrong. Here i just made a random curve like a rectangle and use pop2d points as attractors.

also i saw this post by david rutten using weighted blending, it seems to work, but i want to change the colour gradient by adjusting the distance with a/b later on, and that weighted blending needs colour definition for every single point right? so i can't have a whole gradient change easily?

thanks a lot!
