Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Can someone explain to me how to use the gradient tools to colorize my grasshopper geometries. Specifically I Have a louver system that orients based on an attraction vector and I want to tell grasshopper "if a louver is between angle a and angle b then assign it this color" also possibly how to cull items in the same way based on a min or max value/angle, Thanks in advance.

Solid colour can be assigned to surfaces using the Custom Preview component. If you want to apply a gradient then you can assign vertex colours to meshes. Some examples can be found in this post. But a search for "Gradient Colour" or Color should find you lots of examples of implementing the Gradient Component.
I get the custom preview part, my issue is how do it separate a list or cull out based on angle, whould it be an f(x) function, this way to isolate certain angled louvers from others?

Have a look at these attachments.

Thanks, also a bit of topic but for organization, where can I find the kind of "purple" panels to underlay over groups of components to label sections of my definition?
Ctrl G for grouping
amazing, Thnx
For some reason there is an error, could it be the version i'm using. I have the most recent update.

never mind, realized there was no A in vec2point
Now how to cull based on color value?

You could use an includes component to test to see if falls within your parameters. Also there was a component missing because of your version is older. So I have replaced it with a similar result but the area component uses more CPU to process.
