Cntrolling holes on a surface

Hi guys,

I am quite new on GH, what I did is create a pattern using the paneling tool, applying a geometry;

what I would like to do is to also create holes in that geometry in a way that I can control the size of them (maybe with a control point) or map the surface...

In the right image I did it "manually" on Rhino, so I was wondering if there is a proper way to do it on grasshopper in this situation.
