algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello, i will try for the first time a cnc 3d printing of a texture and i m developing now the model. I m attaching here an image of it taken from above. I wanted to ask if someone with experience in cnc can tell me if it will be possible or i will have any problem. Thanks in advance!

There are different types of 3d printing available and I would suggest you look at SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) to print your texture. I can't tell from your photo if there are any overhanging sections or not (if there were you would definitely need to use SLS because if you use any of the other methods you would have to have support structures to support the overhanging parts of the texture and you would have to manually remove the support structure after printing which could take hours on something with that level of detail.
SLS should also manage the level of detail you have in your texture.
It looks like you will end up with a very big mesh file! You will have to get your model into STL format. This might be as simple as SAVE AS and then select .STL as the file format. A good 3d print service will make sure your model file is suitable to be printed but you will have to get it to them so if it ends up being very large then this could be a problem!
Once you have your model file saved as an STL (or .OBJ) then try contacting a 3d print site like Materialise or Shapeways and get a quote!
