cloud points outline

dear all,

I am making some tests trying to define the visible portion of sky in a urban context.

I get a cloud of points in this portion of visible sky but I am wondering if there is a way to extract the outline of this cloud of points (see attached image).

Hi Giorgio,

very difficult if all you have to go on are points. It's easier to start with a mesh and remove vertices that way. I solved the problem this way:

Note that there is a bug in the Surface.gha file that makes it not work. I've fixed the issue and you'll have to replace your Surface.gha with the one attached.

Btw you can use the [Mesh Edges] E1 output to get all exterior edges of a mesh.
