algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Is it possible to create a closed surface from points? Perhaps through some plugins. Especially how to get rid of this irregular seam.

I can do this using Network Surface but I like the result from SrfGrid more. Tried to use Patch but it didn't generate a valid surface.

P.S. I used PanelingTools in the file.

Thank you, Julian.

I already achieved similar result with the curves (you can see it in my definition, Network Surface).

But the model built with SrfGrid has slightly different geometry and I like that "slightly" more.

It would be perfect if SrfGrid has something like "Closed" or "Periodic" option. I searched on the forum and found the answer by David Rutten, in which he said that it is a very complicated task.

I found no other solution with SrfGrid except copying the surface into 2 separate surfaces and shifting the seam.

Anyway, thanx for your help.

Hey,

I have a similar problem, but can't figure out the solution to it. Can you share the idea how you fixed it?

Hey, Eimile,

here's the file, but the result achieved using SrfGrid is pretty rough.

And Happy New Year! )
