Closed curves / opened curves

Hello guys,

Is there any componenet in grasshopper to distinguish between a closed curve and an opened curve ?

If i have a list of curves (some of them are closed and other are opened), i need to find the centroid of the closed one .. If i plug in the area componenet in GH the list of curves, an error message saying that the opened opened curves dont have a centroid (which is correct), so i need to dispatch from the original list of curves the open curves ..

How can i do this, is there any direct component ?
