Closed curve from substrate

You can use the [Surface Split] component, but it's slow since it uses Breps to get intermediate results. Once you split the boundary with all the lines, you can convert the trimmed faces back into curves using a Curve Parameter, or BrepWireframe or Brep edges or .....
