Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi forum,

Is this possible in VB to create a circle tangent tangent radius of planar curves?
The command is available in Rhino, I thought there was potential to find it in gh?

What do you think?

Hi Remy,

Well, didn't you write the first GH handbook in French?... ;)

Forgive me I'm teasing you a little as a friendly competitor.

I see in the SDK a nice method called Curve.Get FilletPoints

I'll let you find by yourself!

Cheers,

Fred.

Hey Fred, you teasing man !!

My support to bring the first vocation of the components of grasshopper, and then to explain the best are the different components.

I am pleased to see that this is possible, I will return to my research, but would have made sharing work faster.

Regards.

Remy

Tidied it up a bit. Made a user object of it too.

You'll find it in Curve>Primitives>section 2 next to the other circle tools.

Thank you for sending this. I have found the method Circle.TryFitCircleTT during my research, but not the first used.
thank you again

No problem mate.

Note that if there are several solutions it'll find only the last one (apparently) so you may have to cheat and input a sub curve to mimic the "click near" thing in the rhino command.

It is highly appreciated thank you.

A question by any chance, did you ever work on flowalongcrv.
Flow control rhino (Transform) is very powerful, I find it a pity she did not be available in grasshopper.

nope, never ever used it :)

OK Thanks
