Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

watching the digitial toolbox video on circle and extrude:

in this video, the input parameters for the circle are position, radius.  In the current build, I don't see how to set those values.  What has changed from the video to the current build?

Should I be watching more currrent tutuorials?

thanks,

in the current build, the inputs for the circle are still base plane (position) and radius. Where are you looking?

Hi Thomas,

If this is the tutorial you are referring to:

http://digitaltoolbox.info/grasshopper-basic/circle-extrude/

then nothing changed from back then, until now, related to that "circle" component.

The circle component still looks the same, as Andrew pointed out - you need to input the plane in which the circle will lie, and that plain has it's origin, so the circle will start from that plane origin, and be drawn into the plane - this is P input.

And you have a "R" input - which defines the radius of the circle, so a classic number slider can be inputted into this plug.
