Check if Slider has Changed to Trigger another single toggle event (Event Handling)

Hi All,

I have had a look though the discussions regarding slider event handling but with little joy, regarding check if slider has changed number to trigger single boolean switch

In the same was as if I had manually used the button component just after moving the a slider.

I know a little python, but happy with any suggestions in any language as good to learn to read more than just one.

Thanks

Matt

So it seems not so simple as i understand it as the event handling of the slider change is triggered for more than just a change in value.

My new idea, though i have not been able to solve it though code just yet is if i can create a sticky in the script component that checks against the incoming data and then using runs the button press component within the script.

Does this seem viable? or am i barking up the wrong tree

Hi Tom,

Sorry I wrote my reply while you were posting yours, it not a comment regarding the code you wrote. Then my grasshopper web page crashed and would not connect so could not edit it.

The code works as expected, though i need to work out how make the output reset to false after the solution has been recomputed and not stay on true. This is a great start though.

Thanks

Matt

This works. A data dam with a little delay.
