Changing Resolution

I was just curious as to how you can change the display resolution for the geometry grasshopper produces. I created a definition that has moving cut planes for longitudinal and transverse sections but when I zoom in close the geometry appears to separate from its edges, I'm using this as part of my presentation for studio so it would be nice to have something more crisp.

Its not resolution. Its most likely float point accuracy issues due to being really far away from the origin. Try moving some of your base geometry closer to the origin and seeing if it looks better.

Aaron,

my guess is that your geometry is either very very big or very very far away from the world origin. Meshes in Rhino are stored in a less accurate numeric format (cuts memory consumption in half) than other types of geometry, and this format does not translate well to very large numbers.

I suggest you move the geometry closed to (0,0,0) or pick a different model unit.

In addition to problems with meshes, Grasshopper also uses very coarse mesh settings. If you want smoother meshes then you'll have to bake your geometry and let Rhino handle the display.
