algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi, everyone!

I'm trying to change surface's uv number and uniform knots.

However when I rebuild the surface using EdgeSrf, the shape totally changed.

How can i solve this problem?

I would appreciate if someone could lead me into the right direction.

Thank you for any assistance!!!!!

Your GH file doesn't have a valid 'Srf' parameter, even with the Rhino file open.

But I think your assumption is flawed that 'EdgeSrf' will re-construct any surface accurately based only on its edges.

Did you consider 'Isotrim (SubSrf)'?

You might want to also look at this 'Swap UV' component by Danny Boyes here:

Thank you for the information!

Sounds like what you want is just to change U or V control point count evenly distributed, not swaping, right?

"Network Srf" would help, but not always successful.

Thank you for the reply Kim.

Yes. I want change uv control point count not swaping. And I want to make the knots to be uniform.

Your file divided the uv perfectly, but knots are not uniform.

I think the difficulty is when you want keep knots uniform, you need to use interpolate component, but when you use it, it will change the original shape of curve.

Do you know other ways to solve it?

Appreciate your help.
