Change default "set point" type

Is it possible to change the default set point type? Right now it's always "coordinate" on all point inputs (that I've tried) other than the point parameter, which I never use. I'd like the default to be "point."

If there is a point object to select, the default will be Point. Otherwise it will be Coordinate.

If you have a parameter which already has data in it then then default will be inherited from that data.

Is this not what you find?

I see, that is what's happening. It's that I'm usually internalizing data, and once internalized I guess it converts to coordinates, so then every time I set new points it thinks I want coordinates.

Any way around this? I guess clearing values first is the simplest way. If that's the only option it's no big deal.
