Change Curve Length So That It wont Intersect

Hello everyone!

Im creating a set of curves from a range of points.

Thing is I need the height between these curves to be ≤2.5

So right now they intersect. I need their crests to stay the same, so only the length of the second curve can be varied so that it stops intersecting.

Red would be the original curve, green the new curve so that it wont intersect. I can move manually the slider of the domain, but I dont know the exact length this curve must have to stop intersecting.

Any ideas? Much appreciated.
