Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm a total newbie to Rhinoceros and Grasshopper. I am quite an advanced user when it comes to SketchUp.

However, I'm making a transition to more powerful rhinoceros and grasshoppper since I am having issues with subdivision. SketchUp is dependent on triangulation of geometry which is an unhealthy way when you have fluid forms.
Hence I prefer catmull clark geometry.

I have already gone through the videos on MODELAB channel

I am making these forms. I used V-Ray to render and Artisan plugin for making organic geometry. I have shown the form evolution from a basic cuboidal form to a fluid organic volume.

Please refer me links where I can learn to do this easily in Rhino and Grasshopper.

Weaverbird plug-in has "Catmull_Clark_Subdivision" component.

Thanks for suggesting this plugin. I see that you haven't baked your geometry. How come you are getting the black mesh lines and yellow organic geometry within?

The custom preview component allows to put a colour with transparency. The color component is named swatch.
The subdivided geometry has the default color for a selected object
