algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello everybody! I have a problem: after using Kangaroo Physics I obtain my mesh>wbThicken>WbCatmullClark. At this point, my anchor points are not anymore on the ground plane, since the last component 'rounds' them, so it's like they are flying. I am doing some attempts: applying a load with the Solver e using the new points as anchor points since the beginning of the simulation, it doesn't work. If I substitute that points with the original anchor points after the beginning of the simulation, I am able to move them downwards.
in the picture, only the central anchor points touch the ground.
The problem is that applying the load to the points, they move in a copy, so I think that it doesn't work properly because they don't belong to my starting mesh anymore.
I attach here a couple of images to shpw you the situation
Thanks in advance

Can you post your definition?
Hi.
I'm not pretty sure about what you are after, anyway,..
As long as you continue to use the form finding method by Kangaroo, then it'll be difficult to keep the specific pattern like phyllotaxis you applied.
Because if you do not apply the new force of twirl or other constraints for maintaining the pattern, there would be no trace of the phyllotaxis pattern can be found anymore in the Kangaroo output.
Oh sorry. I did't think about it. I am a new user in the forum. Anyway thanks a lot. :) This is exactly what I was talking about.
I wish you a nice day.
Best regards
