Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi, I am new in gh and I have a question regarding catenary curves. I have a criteria set up of the height and length of the catenary so that they are structurally integral. The criteria is 4 lengths for 2 height 4:2. I want to change the height of the catenaries so that at some point the height of the catenary surpasses the heigh leght restrion and the catenary loses its structural integrity and collapses. I need to be able to change the height so that I can decide how many of the curves collapse.

Thanks for all the help.

I am sending a gh file that has the catenary. At this moment I am not able to manipulate the height of each catenary, so I think that that is the first step to help me with my problem.

That's a cool piece of code.  Not yours apparently?  Do you mind telling us where you got it?

Increase the maximum range of the last slider from 10 to 1000.  The catenary curve starts to degrade at a value of ~760:

Yep that is not my code just a mix of things I grouped together. I got it from another persons question in the forum, but I don't remember where.

Can I set this that you are showing me to happen if the relationship between length and height is not reached. The relation 2 to 4 that I was talking about in the post. Because now it is not progressively happening, all are falling at the same time and I need to manage when this is happening.
