Just tried it on my Mac.  Same setup as you and seems to work fine.

When it crashes, is there a Rhino crash message? If yes, please commit the crash report and they'll show up on my list as soon as someone in Seattle decides the crash was in Grasshopper. It usually helps if you add a comment to the report saying what you were doing while crashing.
