algorithmic modeling for Rhino

can the cplane on big objects/scenes be sized up?

hello,
i'd like to know, can the uv-cplane of a point on a surface be upsized?

I unwisely started with a big scaled object/surface for experimenting in grasshopper and the stupid thing now is,
when creating a uv point on a surface the cplane at that point is so tiny it's hardly visible.

Also,

is/would it be possible to make the object-snap mode in Rhino also work for GH objects before being baked?

Cause it's very nerdy trying to reposition the rotation-center ("place target"-button) of the Rhino scene to a certain point on the GH object which is still "under construction" (resp. not baked yet) when you can't get a grip on any point on the GH object.

anyone understand what i'm talking about?

The view cplane can be displayed bigger if you go to View > Cplane Radius and input a number... This will be a global change for all cplanes... The second question I am not so sure I understand...
1.

View > Cplane Radius?

2.

I thought you knew what object-snap is in Rhino.

It doesn't work on GH objects.

1. Update your Grasshopper http://grasshopper3d.ning.com/page/next-build
2. Yes, objects snaps... but when do you need them? You can read through the forum and read multiple requests for geometry to be selectable, snappable, etc...this is not possible because GH is only a preview of geometry...it would be question for David on how to implement this if it is even possible...
ok,
thank you very much :)

well i often need "object-snap" for view and rotation control, you know, simply for spectating and turning objects around in the 3D view port, and for that you usually "reset the camera target"

to move the objects to the view center and to rotate them better from there.

This is used and needed very often in Rhino, don't you think?
