algorithmic modeling for Rhino

can't download new version

hey guys,

my grasshopper version is from 2012, i downloaded the new version, opened it but nothing happens. it doesn't update my version. I tried this on my PC and on a mac, doesn't work in either one. Anyone has an idea?

'opened it'? What does that mean?

If you're upgrading from back when GH had an EXE or MSI installer, please uninstall the old version, then download the RHI file and double click it. Do note you need a somewhat recent Rhino5 service release for the RHI file to work.

so now i deleted the old grasshopper folder, downloaded the new version, double clicked it, it said it was successful but when i try to open grasshopper from rhino i cant. i dont have the plug in anymore :\

what to do??
