Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I was creating light shelves for sometime, but got stuck at the end where I need the to rotate it around the axis. I need all of them to rotate, but can not mach data tree structure.

I do provide rotation axis and angle with geometry, but the component does not produce the  desired result. However if I rotate3D, I need to provide central point, that is easy, but not necessary and the result is half good, half rotated in another axis.

Could you take a look and advise me how to reach normal rotation?

Thank you in advance.D

Hi Marius!! Be ware about your angle to rotate, you are plug in a point where you should plug a number. Also i made a different approach to match the data...Actually every panel has been rotated (arround horizontal axis in the middel of each face, i thought it´s what you want) by constant angle but you can add another parameter. Hope it helps. ;)

I almost forgot... "and the result is half good, half rotated in another axis." It´s because the way you create geometry, i modified your input geometry and now all faces could be offset in the same direction. Cheers ;))
