can i use functions of rhinoscript in grasshopper VB.net component?

Hi,

RhinoScript functions are not accessible from GH, but most of the functionality is available. What exactly do you need to do?

Also, what is the context in which you are using GetClosestPoint and intersectSurface in. Do you want to get closest point to a surface, a curve, do you need it as GH component, Do you need it in VB component, why, etc. If you have examples, then please post.

Hi Rajaa,
I need to create a do loop containing several functions that is available with GH component(for example getClosestPoint). I'm not able to create this loop using GH components so i turned to VB.

I see. I attached an example of how to find closest point to a curve and how to intersect 2 surfaces using VB.

If you haven't seen it yet, it would be useful to check the GH primer to get an idea baout how to work with VB component and Rhino SDK.
