Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello,

I have many blocks linked to C# assemblies and each times when I want to use it in other computer, I have to change all the paths with the manages assemblies Grasshopper tool. He costs me a lot of time and I don't want to do that anymore.

So, I have several options but I don't know how to do it or if it is possible :

  • First, I create a  C# block where I can put all the path of assemblies, send the paths as input in all the other  C# blocks and load the assemblies in this block.  I read a lot of thing about the Class assemblies on C#, I tried but it failed (I think I don't understand well how it works).

  • Second (ideal for me), I load assemblies during the Grasshopper loading, so by default each C# blocks can have this assemblies (if it's work like this). For example, I put all my assemblies in a folder and Grasshopper loads it. I read somethings about it but I don't know how to proceed correctly.

If you have any other options, I will take it too :)

Thank you for your help and support ;)

hey... is not a grasshopper-Solution, its a .bat :: google for "subst" to ccreate a virtual harddrive... now link your assemblies from there...
create the same virtual drive on an other Machine and your paths are working...
would like to send u a batch-file doing so,but my pc is far away at the Moment...
