Buoyancy of a floating area in a liquid medium Test

Has anyone looked at the equlibrium of a floating or submerged area in a water like medium?

The mechanics are quite straight forward, since the buoyancy force will push back against the gravity load until they reach equilibrium and settle, however, I can't seem to figure out how to show it in Kangaroo/GH.

Ultimately, a load applied thru the center of gravity on a cross sectional area will sink until the volume of displaced liquid matches that load, applied throught the CG of the submerged protion.

The same applies to a rotation. The restoring moment will act to "right" the section, and when the applied eccentirc load is too much, it will spin to a new equilibrium. SO if the section if forced to an angle, when activated, it should return to equilibrium. Or if a load is applied, it's rotate to find that equilbrium condition.

Has anyone tried to model this, can offer guidance on the interface between areas being loaded at centroid points, the out put?
