Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I'm new to this program and I'm having some problems.

I have made some buildings in a grid with the function Random. Some of the buildings are small and therefore I would like to make the small buildings larger... I'm talking about the building area. How do I do this?

Another question I have is, can I make this buildings without the random in my grid. So that I can control every single building myself?

I would pass the random function into a graph mapper, this will allow you to visually set the minimum of the output and give you a collection of curves to manipulate your data.

There is a number of ways to control the buildings individually. Graph mapper 2d, Image sampler 3d, excel link. Key will be to control your data structure.

Thank you for the help.

I would test the area of every building to be smaller than desired area and pass this true values trought distpatch component and after you could scale the buildings that are smaller than this value... Post your deff... Hope helps ;)
