algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Occasionally and not every instance of the component fails to recall its internalised value after opening.

I have one particular file that it has occurred twice on in the last week.

The first instance (a couple of days ago) was a *0 so I added a slider.

Then just now it was a *-1 so I have replaced it with a [Negative].

Both instances of the component were present the first time it happened but only one failed.

I've had this with a few of my files... I now externalise the parameter and name it the value it should be so when it happens I can go through the model setting them back to what they should be.

It doesn't do it on all files but I have some files where it now does it on certain values almost every time.

I'm only using 9.66 but i regularly have missing internalised data. Just because it has happened so many times i now use a panel. On the plus side, it makes your definition alot simpler to read.

However i still have issues with internalised geometry etc
