algorithmic modeling for Rhino
From the pull down menu:
Edit> Arrange>Bring to Front
Shortcut (Ctrl+F)
Or do you mean in the Rhino Preview. For that you either need to turn preview off for components as you go or set the display to Selected Only Preview option.
Bump Preview is another option though this is more for when referencing geometry from rhino and bring it to front over the top of the Grasshopper preview.
Hope that helps.
Thanks for the reply. I meant actually in the Rhino Preview, but thank you for the tip for Grasshopper interface.
I found already answer to this question: If I plugin chosen component to custom preview it brings it to the front in Rhino viewport.
Can you tell more though what is Bump Preview ???
This post explains it as good as i could, Click on the Bump preview hyperlink in the list at the top of the post to take you to that section.

Ah sorry I had forgotten custom preview component, note, with that if you right click on it you can set a viewpoint that it is active in such as perspective so all other viewports are standard GH preview.
Actually I wanted to ask you one more question. Is there a way to create shortcut to apply custom preview to a component?
It is needed to avoid tedious double clicking and plugging new component in Grasshopper to make it usable.
Can you show me the issue your having with the viewport display as personally i only use Custom Previews when i need to show final geometry and just work with the standard GH preview while i design/ develop the code/design. and have done for many years.
That's just a general question, because when working with large definition sometimes you want to quickly highlight certain component to check what it is, but you can't because it's overwritten. Then the most useful thing would be to right click > bring to front.
Selected Only Preview is best for debugging code as this overrides any preview settings.
Also if you hit spacebar you will get a wheel with an option to zoom selected geometry among other tools.
Using Ctrl and Arrow keys will show you what is connected to what ever component you have selected, either up or down stream.
