Bricks on a vault surface

Hi.

I am trying create a brick vault, but in lack of GH skills, I am having some difficulties.

I am going to do a lot of research in brick-design in the next future, and hopefully being able to do some real 1:1 mock-ups.

The picture shows my inspiration for the vault.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

That vault is by the Block Research Group at ETH, seems that a good place to start would be to try out their thrust network form finding tools for Rhino. I think they just made some Grasshopper components for this as well. Another option is of course the always awesome Kangaroo. I suspect though that the hardest part modelling-wise is actually laying out the brick pattern, which to my understanding is still performed on a fairly ad hoc manner on site. Hope that helps..
