Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello gh community,

I need some help on the following:

I'm trying to use hoopsnake to orient crotch pieces in a recursive manner. However, I'm using three different types of the crotches and I'm trying to alternate them such as in the attached image.

What also could be helpful, is if the pattern was completely random. That would actually be better.

One last thing too is that the pieces must be oriented on the same vectors, lining up straight.

Hopefully this is simple enough. Please let me know if you need any more clarification.

Thanks!

Hi.

This could be a way of doing it by using "Anemone" plug-in.

Thanks Hyungsoo Kim, this was exactly my goal.

If I may, I'd like to ask you for another possibility:

As shown in the new attached sketch, how might we run this script so that it inputs x-number of pieces (in my new example, 10), and the anemone uses each piece only once? This would mean the output would end after using each piece the one time.
