algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Dear Hoppers,
I finally decide to post on the forum after days of trying to achieve something that seem not too complicated. I guess I never really 'jumped' into data tree structures and it's the good moment for me to further my understanding of this topic.
Would be great to get your help on this one.
I'm basically creating an hexagon that is then subdivided in triangles.
I'd like to re-organize the outcome of this triangulation in rings.
I'd like to be able to perform different operations on each of those rings ( incremental vertical displacement in that case - from higher in the outer ring to lower towards the center )
I'd also like to keep it all parametric, it means:
-Being able to modify the numbers of triangles in the hexagon (slider)
-Being able to select the numbers of rings to displace (slider)
I guess it has to do with a path mapper, flip matrix etc..but I can't figure it out
Here's some images of the definition, and the definition itself
Let me know if I can clarify , Thanks a lot for your help !
