algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi:

I am using a great definition of a diagonal diagrid, made by LaN - Live Architecture that I found on their web site, which I recommend (http://www.livearchitecture.net/), and I am trying to combine it with a box morph definition that I have made, but the results is not working.

I am using as a surface domain the 4 pt surface given by diagrid defintion but is not working.

Can anyone help me in how to proceed?

Thanks

Hi Mirco:

Thanks a lot. This really helps.

I was looking for a separation between the romboids but with your definition maybe I can control this gap with the slider maybe (something like in the image)

Hi Fernando,

perfect, let me know.

Hi Mirco:

This is what I look for. The definition works in a rectangular surface but I can not make it work  in non regular surface. I have no clue why.

Hi Fernando

perhaps I understand where is the problem.

I work it.

Hi Mirco,

I think that the problem is the surface from rhino, the  u and v direction. I´m working on it trying to generate a surface in rhino with appropiate uv direction in order to apply the definition succesfully.

I´ll let you know about my improvements.

Mh maybe without boxmorph? :-)

Hi Dedackelzucht:

Thanks for the help, but I don´t know if I can control a mesh as much as a surface. I mean, it is just a matter of my knowledge. I´ll try it out and let you know.

I think with rhino membrane it should work? Otherwise send me the surface and I give it a try :-)

Hi:

Here it goes the surface.

Thanks!

Not perfect, but maybe the perfect basic mesh. Pull the points now whre you need them, or take it.

:-)

Best regards

Johannes
