algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Im attempting to use a pattern of lines as boundary curves in order to make a network of surfaces. But the boundary surface function returns only 1 surface spanning over the entire field of lines. - so instead of getting a surface for every curve enclosed area- i only get 1 surface made up of all the should-have-been surfaces.
can someone help?

I have the exact same problem. it would be cool if somebody could answer

You need each boundary for each surface as a closed boundary.

right, but how do i tell gh to make a surface on the inside of the intersecting lines. i'm trying to create a separate surface for each plot of land (in the image), where each line represents a street. i'm trying to create several surfaces, instead of one big surface

As I said. You need each boundary to be a closed poly line or closed curve for the boundary surface component to work that way. Or split a big surface with those lines.

Yeah splitting the srf is more like it. used splitsrf component and now have 9 separate srf. thanks
