blocking interface grasshopper

Hi,

I created a component with a drop down menu but the problem is that every time I use it blocks grasshopper interface and I can select nothing !

can someone help me !

Note ! in the drop-down menu there is a text box!

That image does not show a drop-down menu. A dropdown menu is on screen only briefly to allow the user to select one of the items on the menu. Once an item has been selected it goes away again.

You cannot put WinForms controls on the canvas for prolonged periods of time. You can create a System.Windows.Forms.TextBox when the user clicks the mouse somewhere special and then you have to remove the textbox again once the user is done entering a value.

But without seeing code or a compiled component there's not much I can say about this.

The code you posted cannot be compiled. It requires source for something called GH_ExtendableComponent and GH_ExtendableComponentAttributes and MenuDropDown.
