Better & parametric data management
Working on a structural system across a tower and with the need to pair floors up in such a pattern as G 1, 1 2, 2 3, etc..
there has to be better and parametric way instead of item select or, what i'm currently using, explode tree?

You can achieve something like this with some Group and Ungroup wrangling. I'm not sure what you need your data to do after it gets sorted like this, so I'm not sure how best to arrange it for you, but hopefully this gives you some helpful ideas.
