algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi,
I have a topographical surface that I need to triangulate, but converting from surface to mesh generates a patter of different sizes. I am not after the "equilateral triangulation" issue, just a way to have triangles between a ranged size, similar to each other.
I am aware of the kangaroo mesh machine, but I don't think its useful here because its in 3D, as its needs a boundary curve.
Any help much appreciated.
Shynn.

It looks in your file like you have lots of extra vertices around the boundary.
Are these vertices you want to keep in your meshing?
MeshMachine does work in plane too, and with boundaries and fixed points.
Hi Daniel, thanks for your reply, I mean my mesh is in 3D, does mesh machine work in 3D??
And no, I dont really need those vertices there. Its all a result from the patch and trim of the surface.
