algorithmic modeling for Rhino

best fit crv

I have a cluster of points, and i'm trying to fit the curve that best fit the general shape of the point field. I've tried using the best fit line, but, not really the out come i was locking for. Does anyone have an opinion on how i can achieve this?

I was playing around with both and both seems to have the same outcome. But i never though about these approaches, so thanks you guys

works nice. Good idea to filter the curves before using them :-)
