Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I have modelled a mesh surface based on the cracks formed in mud, from this point I have been trying to apply a bending definition like Marten Nettlebladt's (http://www.grasshopper3d.com/photo/mn-comparison) to be able to shape the mesh. Does anyone know how I can correct my definition or if what I am trying to do will not work?

Thank you

I would suggest you first deform the plane surface, not the actual mesh itself, then use 'surface morph' to bend the original crack pattern mesh.
(this may be very slow as your mesh is quite tesselated, but still rocket fast compared to passing the original mesh through kangaroo...)

Hi Jacek,

Thank you I will give it a go and hopefully it will work out.

Thanks
