algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi to everyone,

in the following file .gh i've obtained the angular dimension between surface's faces normal vectors and vertical ("z") direction. Then i would select faces with angular value included in a determinated range (for example between 0.00° and 5.00°) and assign to these a specific value in order to change locally surface's slope. Any suggestions?

Thank you so much.

Hi,

By using domain inclusion and replace item you can achieve to assign specific value for a range of value included into a domain. It is may not the sexiest way of making it but it works ^^

Hi Xavier!

Thank you for your help!! :-) i wonder if now it's possible to achieve a new mesh with normal vertor's direction changed for the faces included in the transformation domain..is it possible?

Hi, I guess it is possible, finding index give you the index of the meshes that you want to change the direction, you can change their direction and recreate a new list with replace item. It s the same process as the definition i sent you, you just need to adapt it to your purpose!

Thank you Xavier but it doen't run..i've obtained a new domain of normal vectors linked to the new changed lists of angular dimensions and than i've replaced it but nothing happened...i try to explain better my issue in an other discussion..

If you want to try to help me i would be very grateful for your help.
