Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello GH brains,

For some reason Points are not baking in v7.0055.  Drew a curve, divided the curve, attempted to bake the division points but no success.  Can anyone else bake points?

Thanks,

Stan

To me it seems to work. Everything is fine
Thanks for trying. Are you using v7.0055?
yeap!!! under windows 7 rhino 4 latest SP.8

can you post your definition?
Thanks Claudio, I appreciate your quick response.

I am using the latest Rhino5 on vista. Is anyone using Rhino 5 with vista and GH 7.0055 having trouble with baking points?

Stan
I experience the same problem. Running GH 0.8.0001 on RH4 SR8 on Windows 7.

Any solutions yet?

Thanks.
Hey Ramonster,

I was trying to bake the Point parameter component. I found out that if I baked the component that was feeding the point parameter component, then it would bake just fine. I am not sure why the point parameter component would not bake. It seems like it should. Perhaps someone else with a better working knowledge could explain why the point parameter component would not bake but the previous component would. They are effectively the same list.

Looks like a bug. If you right click on the component and hit bake, it still works.
Stan,

there was a change in the SDK which meant that the baking window crashes when it tries to show itself. This should only happen in Rhino5 at the moment. When the next Grasshopper is released the problem will be fixed. In the meantime you'll either have to use Rhino4 or use the Bake button on the toolbar which doesn't show the dialog.

Hallo David,

I have some problems while baking curves in Rhino 5 too. If I use right click on the element itself an error occurs: method not found: Boolean Rhino.DocObjects.Layer.get_Expanded()
If I use the dialog nothing happens.
