Bake to another rhino file

Say I want to maintain my grasshopper "inputs" and "outputs" (baked geometry) in separate rhino files. Currently I bake my GH geometry into the native "inputs" file, then copy+paste (or export) into a different rhino file.

But if there were a way I could have the grasshopper geometry go directly to the "outputs" file......

Ideally you could export it to an existing "outputs" file and not be limited to save each back as a new exported rhino file.

Anyone have any thoughts or come across this before?
