algorithmic modeling for Rhino
hello
What im trying is to transform curves using attractor points that will scale the line points.
The problem is once i have scaled the points of the line i cant reconnect the lines because ive loosed the index of the null branches.
How can i reintroduce those null branches in the correct position.
Thanks in advise

I suggest reading some materials on how data structures work. This is not any easy task without knowing the ins and outs. I have the solution as you have seen from my video but I am trying to develop it into something else so I cannot share it at the moment.
If you are feeling lazy, check out the point attractor example from nudibranch.. an infinite number of attractors can be implemented plus the original data structure is being kept intact.
Best,
M.
edit: I haven't properly updated it to 0.9.0056 yet but it should be running.
Marios has an example with nudibranch that does exactly what you ask i'm pretty sure in his example files.
In general the methodology you are looking for is to use weave with the same pattern you used to cull the points and re-link them into the correct(initial) data structure. I f you are using native GH components this needs a lot of data handling (sets ect) with nudibranch its been taken cared of automatically. can you post the file with nudibranch so that I can take a look later today..

hi mario
thanks for your reply.
Like I told you nudibranch works perfectly the problem is that what i really want to do is to scale the lines that are inside the regions. But Nudibranch doesnt have this type of distribution
i upload done in nudibranch and the try with native gh comands
It's still a little bit unclear to me what you want to achieve.. however take a look at the following, i followed your exact words on "scaling" the affected by the attractors points.
Best,
M.
