Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey guys,
I'm new to grasshopper i was wondering if the thing i wanted to do is possible in Grasshopper or should i rather search something in processing.. ok i leave you with my idea :
I have several points located in certain position (all planar) with different weights (degree of influence)which i wanted to attract to one point (center of a circle) and than throw them back and create a line (line of their way back) i don't know how to start some help/link to someone who did something similar would be more than helpful :)

thanks!

Here is a sample i did...

The function is a pseudo formula of gravity... (what? XD )

(k*M1*M2)/(d^2)

in the definition i changed the power of the distance to 1.05 to get results more visible....

Probably there are more specific/optimised tools to make an attractor/repulsor definition;

also search in the forum or outside, there is already a lot of stuff, google is our friend...

Hi,

The problem with all these methods is that they are not iterative.

If you want your affected points position and attraction towards the gravity point to be recalculated each time, you can use Nudibranch.

Best,

M.
