algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi , Forum..

I was trying to scale down  square grids with centre of a individual square .

how i can restrict the farthest entity based on distance > scale logic...

was also trying to do with "image sampled" geometries as well .

I had to control the farthest entity by scale every time i move the attractor. I am looking for and logic .. versatile  enough and applicable for image sampling also.

Thank u ,.

Hi Shridhar,

Add the "Minimum component" and define the maximal allowed scale value:

Btw, it would be nice if you could attach the definition next time.
Yes, you did attach the screenshot, but it's far more easy for anybody to just open an already attached file, then to recreate the one from the screenshot.

Thank you.

Thank you djordje  :D

yeah sure i will will post definition next time.

will the definition work for all cases ?  how can i set maximum and minimum value same time  , how can definition make choices like if  value r greater than r smaller than..??

Any example will b helpful Thank u .

The issue is not to over scale the max value still having "contrast" between minimum and maximum values.

Check out the components extremes, larger than, smaller than. They will give you true false results for comparing size of numbers.

Use the "Maximum" component too, to define the lower threshold:

Thank u Michael Pryor and djordje ...

Any ways to reverse scale..? because here the the farthest from attractor  the max is scaling factor.

Check this page:

What you need is the group named "Attraction".

Great ..!!  djordje what exactly does filter do ?

Right click on Filter component and choose "Help".
You could use the Filter too, in case you want to switch from Attractor to Repeller mode.
